Conference Programs
October 23-24, 2015
Program sessions will be hosted on Friday, October 23rd. The Top Twelve “12th Man” Programs will be presented on Saturday, October 24th. There will be five sessions of 25 programs each with the sessions lasting for fifty minutes. The list of programs will be listed on the website and on the Guidebook Application.
Promptly following each program session, delegates will be able to rate the quality of the program utilizing the Program Evaluation form on the Guidebook Application. Paper evaluation forms will be provided to delegates who are not able to use the application. The paper evaluations will be collected at the end of each session. After tallying the evaluations, the 12th Man programs will be announced and presented on Saturday.
Program Categories
Blazing New Trails

Sparks (Community): Sparks advocate building an inclusive, accepting, and diverse environment. Programs should be geared towards cultivating openness and genuine networking. These programs must incorporate team building elements and a social aspect promoting a “spark” of fellowship, community, and social involvement.

Innovators (NRHH/RHA): Innovators inspire peers to find creative new ways of encouraging and fostering student leaders on campus. Programs should be geared towards peer-leadership development and various aspects of NRHH/RHA. These programs help schools be in the vanguard of student-led organizational development.

Pioneers (Educational): Pioneers strive to increase scholastics and academic awareness of students. Programs should be geared towards academic learning of information and enhancing academic performance during their college career. These “pioneers” educate others about innovative topics that do not fit into the other programming tracks.

Trail Blazers (Leadership/Service): Trail Blazers spotlight developing the leadership abilities of students and guiding the attitudes of individuals towards service. Programs should be geared towards leadership methods and selfless service outreach. Programs that pave pathways for others to be active in community/philanthropy service and/or teach others leadership skills.

Advocators (Diversity): Advocators promote a general acceptance and respect of different cultures and backgrounds, introducing participants to understand that each individual is unique, and recognize our individual differences. Programs should be geared towards ways of promoting inclusivity and increasing cultural, racial, physical and mental ability, ethnic, gender, sexual, social status, and religious diversification. These programs should have a focus on creating awareness and celebrating the diversity in our region.

Ignitors (ART-Advisors): Ignitors focus towards the professional and personal development of those who advise student organizations in a residential setting. Programs should be geared towards organizational development and advisor-student relationship development. Certified advisors will be contacted to present programs for this track to present programs that will “ignite” our delegates.
